Stephen has been managing equities for over twenty years and has broad experience of the American, Japanese and Far East markets but has spent the last fifteen years focused on the European markets. He has an excellent track record in managing open-ended and closed end funds particularly for clients in the UK and North America.

As well as spells with two insurance groups Stephen has worked in Frankfurt before joining Touche Remnant in 1986 where he became Head of the Investment Department. After Touche was acquired by Henderson, Stephen joined the Board of Henderson. Since the take-over by the Australian AMP Group, Stephen has focused on fund management and heads the European Specialist Desk which is responsible for $5bn of assets. Henderson entered the Hedge Fund arena in 1999 and Stephen's fund is their fourth being launched June 2001.
