Are you accredited for hedge fund access? "Accredited Investor" means a person who is: - a government, a local authority or an international organisation of which the United Kingdom or member state of the EEA is a member;
- a company, partnership or unincorporated association which satisfies any of the following size requirements:
- that it is a body corporate which has more than 20 members (or is a subsidiary of a company which has more than 20 members) and it has a called up share capital or net assets of £500,000 or more;
- that it is a body corporate and it has a called up share capital or net assets of £5million or more; or
- if it is not a body corporate, it has net assets of £5million or more; or
- a trustee of a trust which satisfies either of the following size requirements:
- that the aggregate value of the cash and investments (which includes shares, loan stock and warrants but excludes real property and other tangible assets) which form part of the trust's assets (before deducting the amount of its liabilities) is £10million or more; or
- that the aggregate value has been £10million or more at any time during the previous year; or
- an "authorised person" as such term is defined in the Financial Services Act 1986 or, after 30 November 2001, an "authorised person" as such term is defined in the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
